|Stetser Elementary serves grades PreK - 6.
In a beautiful, newly refurbished building, Stetser Elementary's highly qualified teaching staff are dedicated to the support of learning and social and emotional growth for young students. Stetser has vibrants partnerships with Widener University, and is a member of the National Soccer for Success program to support nutrition and fitness for students, as well as the Philabundance program for parents.
Stetser is an Eco-school with a focus on environmental education, complete with active gardens on campus. It is . Stetser is in a global partnership with a school in Haiti to ensure that students are well-rounded citizens of the world.
|The general curriculum is supported by the following textbooks: Success for All Reading, Everyday Mathematics, and Scott Foresman Science, Social Studies, and Music. In addition, students receive extra help using Reading Recovery (grade 1) and computer assisted programs such as Achieve 3000 (reading), First in Math and Apangea (math). Extracurricular programs include: “Sing to Learn” (K-2), General Music (Pre-K-6), soccer, Freedoms School, and after school club activities.

Solid color sweaters or sweatshirts (navy, white or black).
No hoodies are permitted to be worn during the day.
Pants/Skirts: Navy blue or tan khaki pants.
No Jeans or Leggings are permitted.
Belts are required for pants (pants should not sag or reveal undergarments).
For girls, khaki, navy blue or black skirts or skorts are permitted (no denim skirts or skorts). Length should not be more than 1 inch above the knee
Shoes: Sneakers or dress shoes / dressy flats.
No: flip-flops, sandals, high-heel shoes, slides, shoes with wheels or lights.
